This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you:
- visit lotusvida.com (the “Site”);
- purchase our products or manage a subscription;
- interact with us via email, SMS, social media, or customer support.
It does not cover third-party sites we merely link to.

Non-essential cookies load only after you grant consent via our banner (see § 11).

We never sell personal information for money. Under California law we may “share” identifiers for cross-context behavioural advertising; you may opt-out via the “Your privacy choices” footer link.

We authenticate every request and respond within statutory deadlines.
7. Data Retention

Orders & tax records: 7 years (IRS/CRA).

GA4 data: 14 months.
When retention is no longer required, data are deleted or anonymised.
8. Security
TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, AES-256 at rest (via PCI-certified processors), MFA for admin access, annual penetration tests. No method is 100 % secure, but we follow industry standards.
9. International Transfers
Data are processed in the USA. For EU/UK transfers we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses; many vendors also participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Shopify’s Canadian hosting is deemed adequate by the EU.
10. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13; if we learn we have, we will delete it.
11. Cookie Banner & Opt-Out
We use Shopify’s Customer Privacy banner:
- Shopify Admin → Settings → Customer privacy → Cookie banner
- Choose “Show banner only in regions that require consent.”
- Enter banner text and select EU, UK, California, Québec.
- Save.
Shopify then blocks non-essential scripts until visitors click “Accept.” They can revisit choices anytime via the “Your privacy choices” footer link.

We may update this Policy; material changes will be posted here and, where required, notified via email.
