Catch and Release, which is the whole idea
Through the day the gusset has one job, which is to catch and hold. In cold water with our detergent it has the opposite job, which is to let go. Two opposite jobs, one system, and that is why we made the wash as well as the pair.
The gusset is four layers: dry against your skin, a layer that wicks it away, an absorbent core holding 20 to 30 mL, and a barrier so nothing reaches your clothes. The body of the pair is 95% bamboo and 5% spandex, soft and breathable, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.
What wears a pair out is not wearing it, it is washing it. Scrubbing, heat and harsh detergent break down the core that does the absorbing. That is the honest reason a pair stops working by month three, and the honest reason we built a wash for it.
